Makers on Kollabora.com share projects, instructions, techniques, supplies and tools they’ve used to create, and ask and answer questions. You can browse and discover original, fashion- and design-forward projects, currently in sewing, knitting, and jewelry making.
Our name comes from collaboro, the Latin word for working together. Collaborative learning FTW!
We think it’s about time to have a better alternative to simply buying everything. If you ever made anything, you know how good it feels: looking at it, wearing it, hearing others’ praises for it. It becomes part of you: We are what we make.

And if you’re in New York, please stop by our Kollabora Open Lab, every first Thursday (used to be on Tuesday) of the month from 5 - 7 PM at our loft space on 39 Wooster St, 3rd floor in SoHo. The Kollabora Team and our DIY friends sit together and make stuff.
