Maker Faire NYC is a scant five days away, and we're so excited to see all the crazy creativity that only Maker Faire can inspire! And, of course, to hang out and make cool wearables and toteables with our fave hombres. Ummm...that means you! Two winners will be announced this Friday!!!

So, what's in store for you at the Kollabora "Make and Take" booth?

BERNINA will be kicking out the jams all day, with a couple of sewing machines you can try out on our cute drawstring bag tutorial, with fabric provided by Spoonflower. Even more exciting, when you sign up for our newsletter at the booth, you'll be entered to win a BERNINA B215 sewing machine of your very own!

Team Kollabora will also be sharing some of our favorite accessory projects, and we'll have a few special guests sharing their faves too: Max Goodman of Moxy Metals will show you how to turn that lousy, no good coin in your pocket into a boho-chic dapped pendant, and Sarah Goldschadt and her upcoming book, Craft-A-Day, will have you pinning your hair up with sweet, felty bling--felt courtesy of Kata Golda! We'll also have Heather Ross there in spirit--her whimsical prints will be spreading their color and joy all over our booth, and you can browse and buy her new book, Heather Ross Prints, full of cool DIYs--most made in collaboration with Spoonflower!
