Fashion Week has officially kicked off in New York and it's got our maker instinct in overdrive. We're also well on our way to potentially getting snowed in this weekend, which gives us every excuse to spend the weekend whipping up some great new projects. In the meantime, check out what was going on at Kollabora HQ and let us know what's been inspiring your DIY'ing lately!
Monday we started out the week by hosting a comment to win giveaway for Amy Barickman's latest book, Fabric Flowers! Head over to the blog post to leave your two-cents for the chance to add this crafty addition to your bookshelf.
We also introduced you to Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark, a talented knit designer and Kollabora member who regularly wows us with her gorgeous projects.
Have you ever tried making lingerie? A few of our members are giving it a go with some truly gorgeous results. Get inspired by their pretty little projects just in time to celebrate the month of love.
If you've been wondering why Kollabora looks a little bit different, we have personalized the homepage so that you have instant access to all the content you really want, including your favorite projects, who you follow, and notifications. Check it out and let us know what you think about the change!
And speaking of personalizing...do you have a boring old sweater or two just hanging out at the back of your closet waiting for their turn in the spotlight? Sarah from Knit York City feels your pain and pulled together this great sweater revamp that you can try out this weekend!
Whether you love or hate Valentine's Day, you can't deny that at least one of these projects will get your DIY wheels spinning. Show yourself a little love by making something pretty this V-day.
That's all for this week - everyone stay warm and keep making awesome stuff!
