We wrapped pieces of chunky yarn and oversized chain together to create a multi-dimensional jewelry piece that's as fun as it is beautiful. Grab your yarn stash, your jewelry box, or your fabric scraps and get inspired to make a unique, textural statement accessory!

You can use scrap pieces of yarn or yarn from a new skein for this piece. Measure out how long you want the necklace to be and either cut individual pieces, or you can cut one long piece that you wrap around multiple times.
You can also use multiple colors of yarn, or stick with one color.
Do the same with chain and make sure the ends are hooked together with a jump ring.
Gather all of the pieces of yarn and chain together (make sure any loose ends are tied together and ends of chain are connected with a jump ring) and use another piece of yarn to wrap everything together.
Depending on how many strands of yarn and chain you use, wrap anywhere from 1 1/2" to 4". You want to make sure all elements are secure.
Since this is a pullover piece, it doesn't require any clasp closure, just make sure you measure out the length so you can easily pull it over your head.
