This is the first thing I've knit since college, and the very first thing I've knit that wasn't a scarf (ie: a straight line). I modified my Florence Sweater just a bit by leaving off the sleeves and adding about 20 more rows of stitches to the back panel to create a sort of hi/low look. I'm so happy with the result that I already started a dress version with this Cotton Ease yarn.
Thanks to Päivi for the shots, she always makes me look way cooler than I actually am.

Hi to TheMissLinds! I'm new to this site and love it! Trying to find out about getting the pattern for the Florence and the Machine sweater. Is it available? I can't access the answer the Q&A section indicates is there about this. Thanks and keep up the good works!
can I get the pattern for the Florence and the Machine sweater?
The pattern comes with the Wool and the Gang Supremes Sweater Kit.
But the kits are sold out!
@Karin - you'd be surprised at how easy this - i'm learning that a lot of knitting it just geometric shapes, it's how you stitch them together that makes the garment look more complicated and interesting.
I know I'm late to this thread, but yay for rectangles! :) I've made lots of things and rectangles are still my favorite things to knit!
Nice! Great work, I too have only made scarves since college (I did make mittens in high school, but a sweater is kind of more impressing to me, I'm impressed!)...
