Made using Lion Brand's Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn, you can knit up one of these perfectly chunky shawls in about an hour. Add an oversized safety pin for a straight-from-the-runway touch that caters to both form and function.
This is a great project for beginner knitters, or for anyone that wants something quick and stylish to stitch.
Cast on 60 stitches - this will be the width of your shawl. You can cast on more stitches (or less) depending on how wide you want your finished piece to be.
Slip the first stitch from the left needle to the right then proceed to knit 2, purl 2. You will continue this pattern throughout the process of knitting the wrap. This is equivalent to a size small; we recommend testing the length of your shawl before you cast off.
I wish I had this pattern last Friday. I could have really used one of these with my dress rather than the scarf I bought that kept falling off my shoulders... oh well, now I got the pattern and I will make one for the next time.. :)
