Slacker chic meets mod minimalism in this easy-to-make, easy-to-wear dress!

If knitting garments seems a bit intimidating, we have the perfect project for you. The Yoshimi Dress was born out of our editor Lindsey's desire for a cool knit piece that didn't require advanced skills. This dress is so simple, and so flattering, you'll want to make one in every color. And be prepared for the onslaught of compliments, because we've literally been stopped on the street in this dress!*

Sizing: For Small-Medium we used just a little less than 3 skeins of yarn. For Medium-Large you may want to purchase 4 skeins just to be on the safe side. 

Editor's Note: Lindsey was listening to a lot of Flaming Lips albums while constructing this dress, specifically Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. 

*There have been a few questions concerning sizing of the Yoshimi dress. It's a generous, boxy fit (and the Cotton-ease yarn is nice and stretchy) so casting on 73 stitches will work for most all sizes. You might want to take length into consideration for larger sizes, as well as how much room to leave open for the neck and arm holes.
