Kollabora.com is seeking a sales manager to help grow its current partner and client list.

The root of Kollabora is “working together” - we unite makers, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts of all skill levels to get inspired, share projects, buy and sell PDF patterns, and connect with each other and their favorite brands. At the forefront of the maker movement, our diverse community of creative influencers includes some of the most well-known and innovative DIYers sharing high quality, fashion-forward content. Our ever-growing communities include sewing, knitting, home decor, jewelry making, dyeing, quilting, and more.

Kollabora and the Kollaborator Ad Network are reaching over 1 million makers, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts between 20 and 40 years old of all skill levels.

What you'll be doing

 

You will be representing the digital assets (content, contests, ads, trend reports) of a fast growing creative media company. You will be given a list of endemic accounts, some of the with existing relationships that have spend advertising dollars with us already. You will be expected to grow current accounts as well as add new ones. There is a real opportunity to make money if you’re able to maintain existing clients as well as win new ones.

You will start as a freelancer with the option to get hired after 6 months with all benefits. Both roles are offered with a base salary and commission.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years proven sales success, selling digital advertising

  • Cold call/prospecting experience and solid presentation skills

  • Reliable and self motivated to work independently without direct supervision

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Work with content and creative teams to generate event and campaign concepts to sell to prospective clients

  • Strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter approachYou will work effectively and efficiently as part of a team, staying composed under pressure and managing your time.

  • You’ll be responsible for providing clear communication to the team, as well as planning your work. You will brief the partnership manager who will produce the campaigns and together ensure that we’re delivering great work. We are about collaboration!

  • A love for DIY, craft, fashion and the maker movement is a HUGE plus.
