This is my second BHL Anna hack (first here), this time with S1419. The viscose is from Darn Cheap Fabrics - it handled well and feels lovely to wear.

I lengthened the bodice by about an inch, and created a v-back neckline. I fiddled a bit with the skirt pleats to align them with the bodice. I also altered the pockets be sewn into the waist seam so they didn't move about under the skirt... I didn't align them very well with the front skirt piece so unfortunately they pull to the front slightly - probably not noticable to anyone else!

My only challenge with this dress was surprisingly the zip! I must have sewed it in and unpicked it at least five times. I even ended up throwing out a zip because somehow I managed to stretch (or shrink?) one side with the iron! How frustrating!!

Thanks Ally, I'm lucky the Anna bodice fits me straight out of the packet :)
