Autumn things
by BeColorAnd Follow

I'm always looking for new applications of existing forms to make from paper. I do not strive for a genuine copy, that's almost impossible, but a stylized version I can try! So on a very hot summer day I was busy making autumn things and under my hands did this pine cone appeared. Actually very simple to make

Recap

  • Need: paper, punch, glue, scissors, hole puncher and a piece of string

    Make:

    - the pine cone consists nine rows, you need a total of 18 round pieces of paper

    - fold the rounds in half, glue them on a piece of paper of the same color for some firmness

    - glue the nine rows in the following order: 1-2-2-3-3-2-2-2-1

    - draw a pine cone form on the back of the card and you can start trimming the pine cone (see last photo)

    - make a hole in the top of the pine cone and get a piece of string through it
