Blue-Peach Undie Set
by Ginny Follow

I had such a good time making this bra.  The main materials (the lace and the light blue lycra) were just small remnants, so I'm feeling like a champion scrap-stash buster on this one.  However, I did add a power net lining to the bra band, some bra tulle on the upper cups and all the elastics/trims from my lingerie supply collection.

I made a few changes to the bra pattern, but started with the Pin-Up Girls "Linda" pattern.  The panties are a slightly modified version of the free Budapest Panty pattern.

The set is beautiful! I especially love how it is a full coverage bra, but the peach tulle up top makes it seem more delicate. Very inspiring indeed!

Thanks so much Helena.  I've had the bra tulle in my stash for several months, and was feeling a bit hesitant about using it, but it's super easy to work with.  Are you considering some lingerie making?  I think you'd be great at it!

    Very, very beautiful!

I would like to make such a beauty myself. Where did you purchase the lace fabric and the "mesh" fabric?

    Oh, thank you!  :D

The lace was purchased from the TailorMadeShoppe on Etsy, which is a terrific source for all sorts of lingerie making supplies.  It was a small remnant included in one of the $5 Lingerie Supply Grab Bags.  The Grab Bags show up occasionally in Ying's shop, so I just check regularly to see if she has any listed.  I love them!  They're just a random assortment of various supplies, no two are the same.  The lace remnant was irregular and maybe 14" long, and the coordinating blue lycra was included in a different Grab Bag purchased at another time.

The mesh fabric is bra tulle in blush, and I buy it from Emerald Studio on Etsy.  It's really lovely to work with.  https://www.etsy.com/listing/257208342/bra-tulle-by-the-12-meter-in-blus...
