Constellation mini quilt
by Ute Follow

I made this mini quilt for the Secret Valentine Exchange 2015, organized by Sanae Ishida and myself. It was inspired by the big constellation quilts by Haptic Lab. It shows the sky of the northern hemisphere in January.

It is made from blue linen and I experimented with simple embroidery for the first time. Size: 50x50cm

This is such an amazing idea! Thank you so much for sharing! My friend has just had a baby and this would be such a lovely and meaningful gift to make for her!

Oh, yes, it would! Maybe even a bit bigger as a baby quilt and with constellations in relation to her birthdate/birthsign/zodiac sign! I am happy I could inspire you.
