DIY Pine Cone Christmas Trees

Materials
Clean pine cones
Craft paint
Brush
Craft glue
Glitter
Small terracotta pots
Aluminum Stars

  • 1.) Wash the cones in a soapy water to remove any critters. The pines may close when wet, put after a day when they have dried will open up again.

  • 2.) In the mean time, paint the pots.

  • 3.) When the cones have dried , paint the tip of each scale of the pine cones.

  • 4.) After the paint has dried, put a thin line of glue on the edge of the scales near the top of the cone and sprinkle with glitter to look like it was dusted with snow.

  • 5.) Wait for the glue to dry and set each pine cone in a pot, and make stars from a craft foil.
