Eco friendly make-up pads
by la Mel Follow

I was thinking about the amount of cotton disposable make-up pads that I use and thought I could do better by making some washable ones.

They're made of flanel on the outside with a single layer of fleece in between them. Since I don't have a serger I just zigzagged them.

I have been using them for a while now and they work perfect!

    Hi and thanks!

I use them to take off both my eye and my face make up and wash them after every use.
I made a whole bunch of them and after using one, I chuck it in a mesh laundry bag that I have hanging in my bathroom. Whenever I'm washing towels als 60C, I put in the mesh bag as well. When taking them out of the machine, I put them seperately on a flat surface to dry (usually on top of the dryer).

I must say, that after 2 years of using them, they don't look so cute anymore :)
    But they still work anyways!
