OMG LOVE THIS! I would have never guessed that it was a plastic dinosaur !!! This gives me so many other ideas to use other items I would have never thought! GREAT IDEA

If this is a plastic dinosaur you could go the extra mile and have it cast using a lost wax casting process, or you could grow metal onto the surface using electroplating technology...but, if you're in a hurry leaf or paint works too :)  Plus it keeps the piece a little lighter for the wearer....

Definitely. Have always wanted to try casting. This way is much faster and easier though if you're pressed for time.

Such a great idea! I want to get the same paint. Is this the same one you use?? http://www.amazon.com/Plaid-6110-Liquid-Leaf-oz-Classic/dp/B000BZX2GS
