Flower hangers are hip and trendy and are decorative in any interior. I'll show you how you can make one ( or 3)!
What do you need:
- Embroidery ring (s) - for sale at a hobby store or Etsy
- Dried flowers
- Sprigs of eucalyptus or other green that you can dry
- Green binding wire - for sale at a hobby store, possibly flower tape
- Ribbon or rope
Get to work!
Work with caution, because dried flowers are rather fragile.
Make a small bunch of twigs of eucalyptus and a few different flowers. Tidy this at the bottom of the ring. If you find it difficult to tie it, you can also fasten the bunch with flower tape before you attach it to the ring. Cut out the left over twigs.
Also make a small bunch for the other side of the ring. This can be a smaller bunch, so that it is not completely symmetrical. Secure it so that the wire is not visible.
If necessary, you can add more flowers.
If you are satisfied with the result, attach a piece of ribbon or rope to the top of the ring.
And now your ring is ready!
I liked it so much that I made 3 hangers of 3 rings in different sizes. They a so nice together.
You can also experiment with different types of dried flowers and combinations.
