Folded Paper Soufflé Flower
by All Things Paper Follow

When I saw a tutorial for a lace cuff bracelet on Ucreate, I couldn't wait to make the folded fabric flower that adorned it by using TerraSkin instead. It's an alternative paper and is the coolest stuff! It looks very much like paper, but handles a bit differently and is incredibly smooth and strong. I wrote about how I made this flower here: http://www.allthingspaper.net/2011/07/terraskin.html

Recap

  • I began with plain white TerraSkin, but created a marbled look on the top and bottom surfaces with crayon-like Gelatos that can be used as watercolor paint just by adding a wet brush to the mix.

  • This is the unpainted version which I think looks pretty nice too, especially if you add a decorative button as the center.
