Halloween Costume: Vintage Sewing Pattern
by ErikaMadeIt Follow

For my halloween costume I wanted to be something sewing related... A sewing pattern! I am vintage McCall's 6351 from 1962. The dress is made from wool crepe and the "envelope" was made from plastic pipes from home depot. I copied the pattern envelope onto fabric with sharpie, attached webbing for straps, and sewed it up like a pillow case. Viola sewing pattern. I teased my hair to death for a 1962 hairspray inspired 'do.
