Two-for one! I used the Megan Nielsen Briar pattern for the top half, made up in a Guipure lace. This is my third version of the briar and the first time using a woven but I just sized up and the rest was the same. It was also the first time I've worked with a fabric full of holes and hemming it was like trying to sew air! We got through. The shorts are the Scalloped Hem shorts by Pattern Runway in a minty Nani Iro double gauze. The fit is unbelievably good straight off and I love the invisible side zipper and the subtle scallops...

I totally love this whole outfit... How was working with that lace? Difficult at all?

Actually not as hard as I thought. The top only had a few seams so that made it okay, I stabilized them with cotton stay tape. The tricky bit was hemming because I'd fold it over and two holes would line up!
