Leather Envelope by Melissa Buwembo Follow

I had a bunch of leather scraps laying around and wanted to make a little something for a friend who's coming out for a visit. So ta-da!

  • Cut out pattern using downloadable template

  • Hammer the flaps down to make a crease. Use the U gouge to trim down crease.

  • Fold in place and inside edge of the front flap with Krazy glue (you can also use jewelry or leather glue)

  • Hole punch for the button stud.

  • Screw in button stud and punch another hole for the closure.

    I love these guys, Sarah! So perfect and easy to make. 


    I used the template as a guide and just sketched it out onto a piece of 8.5" x 11" paper. They're probably a little smaller than the ones you made, but the template is great for scaling it to any size. Thanks again!
