Linen Cloud Dress
by Nishi Follow

  My new favourite dress!

This is Vogue 1410 by Mizono.  The hem is adjustable between four different lengths and fitted by tightening/loosening the cord at the waist.

I made this from an indigo dyed linen which seems to have just the right amount of drape for this shape.  The dress is very simple to sew, but I made a few adjustments to make it look a little more professional - I handstitched the neckline, armholes, and hem; added eyelets instead of buttonholes at the waist; changed the cord from elastic to leather and removed the stopper entirely.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this dress and I LOVE wearing it here in humid Singapore!  If you'd like to read more about it (and see some more pictures), please head to my blog here

Ha ha! Thank you so much!  I think my hair is enjoying the humidity here by getting bigger every day! :-)
