Needle felted penguin
by Brynne Stevens Follow

I decided since I love to needle felt, why not make a cubist-boxy-penguin? I used high quality blue, yellow, black, and white Wool Candy wool roving in the creation of this product.

Recap

  • Collect blue, yellow, black, and white roving. Grab your felting needles and felting foam pad too.

  • Then, begin felting by flattening the blue roving. Begin shaping it and roll it while felting to add form to it.

  • Once your blue roving is shaped in a thick rounded square, begin felting the white onto the roving for the belly and face.

  • Once you have finished with the white, add small black eyes. Try to use a very small amount of roving.

  • For the finishing touch, use the yellow for a small beak. Tuck in any flyaway strands of roving if you want.
