Misses cropped culotte-style jumpsuit with waist tie.
6-18. I cut the 14 in the bodice and the 16 in the pants.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very. It's a very simple pattern.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The jumpsuit has a bib style front, I love that it has front slanted pockets and a sleek style belt for waist cinching.
I used a navy and white poly crepe with nautical stripes and it has an amazing drape. Found at Hancock Fabrics.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't make any design changes. I did however add an inch to the waist and 3" to the length of the pants. I did make sure the prominent stripe print was front and center. And I cut the front band on the cross grain, to give interest to the design. And I also made sure the prominent stripes were centered on the shoulder straps.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I think I may sew this one again in a lightweight denim/chambray.
