Recycled plastic bag belt
by Shannon Jordan Follow

Wondering what to do with all those plastic bags you keep stuffing under your cabinets or in your closet?  Well here's an idea, a belt!  Simply fold the bag lengthwise and cut off the handles and bottom part.  Cut into strips about an inch and a half wide.  Join your strips together with a reef knot to get one continuous piece of plyarn. Then your ready to crochet your belt using a single chain stitch.  The number of stitches depends on the width of your belt buckle.
