"Seasons of Fun"
by Kim Lapacek Follow

Inspired by two different challenges - "Seasons of Play" was created.  A fun little quilt both pieced and raw edge appliqued.  Each season is free motion quilted in a different pattern using Aurifil threads.

This quilt is wonderful - so imaginative and creative.  Four seasons is one of my favourite themes and you have made great use of the children in the fabric to applique onto the four seasons and illustrate the weather conditions and activities in each season. I love everything about this design including the colour chosen for each corner of each season - a really lovely element.  The tree is so symbolic of each season in its four sections - brilliant.  The quilting is beautifully done as is the the multicoloured border. Congratulations on a fabulous piece.
