To say that summer in Nevada is hot is to say nothing at all. It is steaming, boiling and all in all unbelievably HOT! For me, the best way to deal with heat like this, is to use natural and lightweight materials like silk, cotton and etc. These shorts are easy to make, waistband is elasticated and they also have two nice details: side overlapping seams and little tie belt (can not really see it in the pictures).
Pattern: Burda’s pattern of Blossom Shorts, lining added
Materials: Dupioni silk, crepe, elasticated band
