Recap

  • I had a little time today and started to cut out my pieces... with my serger! It's my first time ever working this way. We'll see how it goes. You can read more about it and see more pics here.

I traced my paper pattern piece.

  • I finished the asymmetrical neckline.

But now I'm having equipment problems and must wait to have a machine serviced before I can continue. :(

Love the sleeve detailing! Glad to know the serger is back in gear - makes me want to get mine fixed too!

Thanks, Anna. It turns out that I really missed the serger when it wasn't there for me.

So fun to follow your progress! And I LOVE the final piece. If you can make it to the Kollabora Open Lab this Thursday, maybe you can bring it along?

    Ojolly replied 7 years ago

Thanks so much, Nora! I'm sorry I'm not able to make it to Open Lab this Thursday. Hopefully I can next time.
