Inspired by JD's favorite forest animal … no deer will be harmed in the crafting of this cross-stitch.

A larger-than-normal cross-stitch pattern — the pattern (and directions) are printed right on the fabric, so no counting or grid drawing is necessary! The fabric is stretched and stapled to canvas stretcher bars (which can be purchased in any art store) and then stitched up with colorful yarn and a tapestry needle. Each stitch is 3/4".

Kit includes:
Lion brand yarn (Seaspray and Expresso)
6 tapestry needles
Spoonflower heavy cotton twill fabric (with printed pattern)
Directions for cross-stitching and stretching canvas

PLEASE NOTE: This kit DOES NOT include a frame or stretchers.

In addition, you'll need:
(2) 20" stretcher bars
(2) 25" stretcher bars
(You'll also need a staple gun to stretch the fabric to the 4 stretcher bars.)

Your kit comes with yarn in the color pictured, but if you're really feeling creative, you can switch out the yarn for another color to customize your cross-stitch. (Just make sure to use a worsted weight yarn.) A perfect addition to the modern cabin.
