Gold Dipped Glasses
by Emily Jeffords Follow

Instantly dress up set of tumblers with liquid gold leaf. It’s easy, beautiful, and a fun way to transform a thrift store find into a stunning entertaining set.  These were created for the Trouvé Magazine Winter Create & Gather event

  • Pour a very small amount of the gold leaf into a dish that you don’t mind either painting gold or losing. Dip the foam paintbrush into the gold leaf and paint onto the glass. Don’t be worried about making straight lines, the beauty of this is the effortless style! Paint long strokes until you have covered as much of the glass as you want. Set it upside down to dry for at least an hour. Finish up with a quick coat of sealer, and wash before using.

What kind of sealer would you use? I don't have a clue about this kind of stuff!

I love the irregular shape of the paint!
